Description
The Falkland Centre for Stewardship exists to promote the practice of stewardship locally and the philosophy of stewardship in 21st century Scotland and beyond. As one of the hosts, the Centre will be developing a One Planet Food programme over the next five years to create a more sustainable and equitable regional food system in Fife (building on the work of the Fife Diet.) The vision is for a revitalized food culture, better animal welfare, a more diverse environment and a thriving local food economy. Such change requires both infrastructure change and also innovative partnerships between producers, 
consumers, caterers, retailers, communities, research and government.
The centre also plays host each July to Scotland’s biggest eco-festival – The Big Tent and runs a host of other programmes throughout the year.
